Description
To ensure Child Death Rapid Response (CDRR) procedures are in place across the county of Essex, Southend and Thurrock.

You will act in collaboration with Rapid Response Nurses to fulfil this role across the ICS of Southend, Essex and Thurrock (SET) acting as the ICS lead for the implementation, co-ordination and management of all child death reviews in accordance with Government legislation and Local Safeguarding Childrens Board Policies.

The clinical role of the Practitioner will involve all aspects of the multi-agency Joint Agency Response (JAR) minimising any delay through Child Death Review Meetings (CDRM) and supporting the final Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP) review.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the service delivery will meet the requirements of the 3 stages of Rapid Response in line with the decision of the local Designated Paediatrician for Child Death Review and the declared specifications of the ICS For a more detailed Job Description please see the attached documents before applying.
