Project Manager - 100% remote / OR South Coast HQ / OR hybrid to suit: Our client is a fast-growing and ambitious IT consultancy that operates in niche, highly specialised areas of technology - servicing household name clients.
They have developed a newpartnership model; a hybrid consultancy and managed service, designed to help clients find the right skills, manage budgets and deliver project outcomes.
This initiative has grown rapidly in popularity over the past year and they are looking for additionalPM ability to help deliver this innovative product.
Responsibilities:
- Taking initial project briefs, discussing projects with clients and sales consultants and gathering required information.
- Converting project tasks, activities and milestones into Statements of Work.
- Creation of generic SOWs for specific clients with large teams to enable quicker turnaround of SOWs.
- Preparing contracts for clients and freelancers.
- Receiving regular Project Status Reports from freelancers and amalgamating them into client Project Status Reports.
- Actioning SoW Change Requests and ensuring appropriate audit trail of all changes.
- Setting up new assignments on the new finance system and timesheet portal.
- Tracking milestones and preparing updates and invoicing sign off.
- Undertaking IR 35 status determinations and communicating them to clients and freelancers.
- Reporting existing project progress and new matters in progress to the Project Board weekly.
- Supporting freelancers and clients including contributing to regular project update meetings.
- Track and manage project and business risks.
- Working with Business Support to ensure freelancers meet all compliance and insurance requirements.
- Create, develop and document processes for the PMO office which scale as required and work with the Back Office teams to ensure companywide adoption.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
- Where risks and issues arise for an engagement, ensure appropriate documentation and change controls are recorded, approved and stored.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree required?
- 2+ years' experience working as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or Scrum Master
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- English, full understanding and skilled in both written and spoken language
