    Contract:
    Permanent - Full time


    As a Site Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering a wide range of local authority civil engineering schemes for West Northamptonshire Council, providing maintenance, improvement, and major project schemes to program and within budget, the works will include footpath reconstruction, carriageway resurfacing, surface treatments, drainage improvements, traffic signals and structures repairs.

    Ensuring the health and safety of yourself, the workforce and the public in accordance with Kier SHEprocesses and procedures, making sure sites are compliant with Chapter 8 and the Construction (Design and Management)


    • Managing construction sites to programme and budget, inspecting Quality of work in accordance the Inspection Test Plan, scheme designs in line with the currentspecification, maintain compliance with the NEC4 change control procedures for early warnings and compensation events
    • Q's in line with NEC4 contract requirements
    HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or appropriate practical knowledge, with key experience in managing direct employees and civil engineering contractors with the ability to inspire and drive results


    • SMSTS / NRSWA Supervisor level / NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate / 12D Traffic Management
    • A full driving licence in order to visit different sites
