Assistant Credit Controller - Manchester, United Kingdom - ONE PROPERTY RECRUITMENT LTD
Description
Duties:
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable
- Manage the company's credit policies and procedures
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and followup on overdue accounts
- Prepare financial reports related to credit management, including budgeting and forecasting
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with technical accounting issues as needed
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage payroll tax filings
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 3+ years of experience in credit control or related field
- Strong knowledge of financial report writing and analysis
- Experience with tax filings and bank reconciliations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
