New Business Development Manager - Aftermarket Sales
£50,000 to £55,000 + Car + Bonus + Benefits

Our client is a global market leader in the design, manufacture, fabrication and servicing of high-quality, high-performance process and conveyor belts.
Due to growth and a recent acquisition, they're now looking for a business development manager to managetheir aftermarket sales in the UK with current and new prospective customers.
The Role
This is an exciting time for the business with the introduction of a new product range of Conveyor Chains & Components.
The role will be focussed on the development of conveyor chains and components business through existing accounts and at the same timedeveloping opportunities and closing new business partners throughout the UK & Ireland.
You will play a key role in managing the strategy, growth and direction of this new product.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Generate new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers by targeting all verticals in the UK & Ireland markets.
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle from generating leads, demonstrating the product, pricing, negotiation and closing.
- Build a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities to support the company's growth plans
- Liaise with Customer Service Team to ensure a smooth and professional handover happens between the business and the customer.
- Attend events to network and create leads.
- Coordinate with Global ISM Team to identify leads gathered from exhibitions and also review Global Accounts with no trade in Northern England.
The Person
- Proven experience of meeting sales targets in business development / new business.
- Proven experience in managing profit margins, to include, maintaining, improving and reporting on.
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business.
- Proven experience in managing relationships with key clients.
- Strong, repeatable and reliable sales methodology to plan and develop sales.
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Used to working in a fastpaced environment.
