Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading game development company, with a passion to deliver high-end cinematic games, based in Guildford, England.
They are carving a unique and exciting path in the games industry, and are looking for a Jira SupportTechnician to join their team and work on their exciting projects
Reporting to the Production Systems Manager in the Management Information Systems (MIS) department, this role will provide broad support for Jira primarily, but also other production management and related systems where applicable.
You'll need to be highly responsive in meeting the daily needs of our Jira users throughout the studio, as well as helping with a wide rangeof administrative activities, including gathering business requests for more advanced requirements and ideas.
You will be a key part of ensuring that the company get the best from Jira and related production tools to help them create world-class games.
Responsibilities include monitoring and maintenance of the functionality, data integrity, and security of the company Jira instance, providing support to users with resolving Jira problems and requests, assisting the Production Systems Manager with administrationtasks for Jira and linked systems, raising alerts regarding potential problems with functionality or performance of the system, building strong relationships with our user base, management & IT to provide the best support to meet their requirements, buildinga strong understanding of how Jira is used within the company's development process and assist with other data-related tasks within the MIS team as required.
