Project Network Engineer - Our client are at the heart of their industry, internationally recognised for quality, integrity, and creativity.

They are currently looking for an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to closely assist the Network Manager and team with all aspects of IP network maintenance / functionality and project work to ensure their critical IT systems / network anddata remains secure and available to the business.

You will take a lead role in advising, mentoring, and managing by using your previous experience and expert knowledge.
As a key team member, you will be involved in a large variety of project work.

This ranges from network refreshes / maintenance, multicast media encoding / decoding networks, IP video routing networks, all aspects of cyber security, and designing, installing,and supporting temporary network installations.

Offered on a hybrid basis, you should be comfortable with 2 days per week in the central London HQ. This is NOT a remote position.


Responsibilities:


  • Aid in the design, build, security, and maintenance of the internal and remote office network infrastructures.
  • Manage your own assigned projects through all stages to eventual completion. Record time spent, manage any costs involved and ensure all elements of the project are completed and documented according to the required schedule.
  • Installing and configuring many types of networking hardware.
  • Work closely with the Network Manager to ensure key projects timelines are met across the team.
  • Delegating tasks and priorities to other members of the IP Network Team.

Requirements:


  • Ability to understand and produce High level / Low level network diagrams and corresponding documentation.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work alone or as part of a wider team is necessary.
  • Always keen to share knowledge
  • Experience following a change control process.
  • Experience and certifications with PaloAlto, Cisco, Arista, and Aruba systems very desirable. CCNP certified or equivalent networking experience.
  • Advanced network configuration knowledge for a wide range of equipment and manufacturers.
  • A keen interest in Cyber Security.
  • Experience of Cloud Services such as Azure, Office 365 and AWS is desirable.
Offered on a hybrid basis, you should be comfortable with 2 days per week in the central London HQ. This is NOT a remote position.
