The Role and Team
You must be dedicated, hard working and willing to work through a steep learning curve to learn your rounds.

Working - Monday - Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm

Responsibilities:


  • Be an ambassador for the company and always delivering with exceptional service
  • Undertake preshift inspection of your van
  • Driving style to be damage free and economical
  • Clean and refuel your van as and when needed a clean presentation of the van is essential.
  • Make deliveries in a timely manner as delivery times are provided to customers, and to contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
  • Be willing to persevere whilst learning the round, and to ensure all customers receive their orders on their delivery day.
  • Customer confidentiality
  • Rounds are an average of 5565 drops per day
  • Ability to cash up your round accurately at the end of each working day with a tidy and comprehensive paperwork approach to support the office.

Essential qualifications/Personal Qualities:


  • Evidence of commitment and stability
  • Experience of multidrop delivery role, with a customer focus mind
  • Good knowledge of the Dorset area and surrounding villages
  • Flexible approach to supporting other areas of the business when required
  • A can do attitude whilst learning the role and in your day to day activities
  • Full Clean UK Driving License for manual vehicle use
  • Clear DBS (Disclosure & Barring) check prior to joining
  • Proof of right to work in UK
  • Physically fit as the role requires deliveries to addresses with several stairs. You should anticipate 10,000 + steps per day.
  • Numerate & Literate with secondary level education completed at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Willingness to support the business growth with door drops to prospective customers

Desirable:


  • Health & Safety training
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle checking for safe driving style

Working days are:

Monday - Friday within the hours of 7.00am to 3.30pm

£11.00 per hour
