Contract Support Supervisor - Woking, United Kingdom - IMS
Description
The role of Contract Support Supervisor and Pool Plant Operator is to support the Operations Managers with the various contracts in the area of Woking and within a 20 mile radius, you will also be maintaining the school pools.
As this role is flexible and you maybe working on a school site an enhanced DBS check is required.You will be expected to work 6hrs a day Monday - Friday, 30hrs per week.
Duties will include:
Contract Support Supervisor
Full inhouse training will be provided.
- Working with and supporting the account managers
- Visiting sites to carry out cover cleaning when short staffed
- Visiting sites to meet with staff to collect documents
- Meeting potential new staff
Delivery of Stock
- Packing up stock from the order from for your sites
- Loading stock onto van
- Delivering stock to sites
- Unloading and unpacking stock into cleaning cupboard ensuring all stock is organised
Light Care taker duties
- Lock up and unlock school
- Set up lunch hall
- General day time cleaning
Pool Plant Operator, approx. 2hrs of your day
Full in house training, as well as an opportunity to gain qualifications including, the National Pool Plant Operator Certificate.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain water quality according to pool specifications
- Addressing all water chemistry issues
- Maintaining a vacuuming schedule for pool
- Maintain a safe and clean pool surround area:
- No hazardous materials or objects present in pool areas
- Maintain a functional and organized plant room environment:
- Filters are backwashed
- Pump filter baskets are clear
- Chlorine pumps are functional, lines are clean
- Chemical Controllers are calibrated and functioning
- Plant room is kept clear of debris
- Chlorine and Acid day tanks are full
- Chemicals are stocked and in their labelled area
- Oversee operation and adjustment of Air Handling Unit and periodic changing of air filters
- Report faults to senior management for repair
- Alert Management of any potential issues and ensure appropriate action is taken to
- Work with the senior management to consistently improve facility procedures and
- Liaise with customers purchasing team to manage deliveries of chemicals
- Work as part of a team and independently as required
Desirable but not essential Knowledge/Qualifications
- National Pool Plant Operator Qualification
- First Aid Qualification
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to follow direction and work independently with little to no
- Able to handle a physical workload
- Ability to work in humid and sometimes hot environment
- Work as part of a team
- Able to work flexibly, including weekend and evening on call work
- Able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Able to complete detailed testing and maintenance records
