We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Tutor for the following module:

  • Principles of Organization and Management, level
  • 27 hours teaching (3 hours per week: 6-7.30pm and 7.30-9pm in-person)
  • Monday evenings, over 9 weeks: 2 October to 27 November 2023


You will have knowledge of Management and experience of teaching management students and be qualified to the corresponding level of the award as required to teach (or demonstrate equivalent professional/industry level experience).


Further to the person specification, essential requirements for this role are:

  • A postgraduate degree in the field of management
  • Teaching experience, ideally working with adult/mature students within the FE/HE sector, would also be an advantage;
  • A good understanding of the needs of parttime adult learners;
  • Demonstrably effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills across a range of relevant contexts;
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently as appropriate;
  • Willing to engage in reflective practice.

Remuneration


Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £58.48 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked.

This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 6 and is inclusive of a 'Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier' which covers preparation, teaching, administration, in connection with the course.
