IT Network Engineer
Salary up to £40,000 + on-call compensation + benefits
Pontyclun, Rhondda - hybrid working 2-3 days working from home per week

CPS are working with a prestigious South Wales organization who are looking for a Network Engineer to join the IT Team.

This role will involve supporting the design, installation and connectivity of all virtual and physical computer and data/voice network systems across the on-premise and cloud estates.

You will ensure the operation of server and non-server IT assets are stable,resilient and their current / future deployment mirrors business requirements.

Skills / experience:

Experience within a similar Network Engineer position or Infrastructure / Systems Engineer with a focus on Networking.
Knowledge / experience of LAN's and WAN's, Virtual networking technologies (VMWare), CISCO, Wireless, Firewall technologies and Remote Access Systems, Microsoft toolset (e.g., Windows OS, Active Directory)
Working knowledge of VOIP telecoms and mobile systems engineering, design, implementation and technologies
Azure Networking infrastructure a benefit but not essential
CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate or willing to complete this.
Able to be part of a rota for responding to rare incidents outside of normal hours
Any Cloud Telephony and Contact Centre Solutions would be desirable
