Description
Furrowfield School is an 11-16 secondary school providing education for students in Years 7 to Year 11. Students who attend Furrowfield School have Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) issues with other complex needs.

Students follow the majority of the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and a broad curriculum in Key Stage 4 when a combination of GCSEs, BTEC, Functional Skills and AQA Unit Awards are studied.

In addition vocational opportunities in construction, hair, beauty and barbering and mechanics can be studied.

We also have close links to support our informal curriculum including Birkheads Wild Forest School, Bill Quay Farm and Evolve Sports Academy.

We are proud of every single student within our educational community.

Our very talented and committed staff work incredibly hard to ensure every student has the very best life chances possible.

Together We Succeed is our school motto and this permeates through everything we do.

We are proud to advertise the opportunity for an experienced, vibrant, talented pastoral leader to join our staff team as our Deputy Head Teacher pastoral support.

This is a unique opportunity to work with an empowered student body and a committed and caring staff who live and breathe the school motto 'Together We Succeed'.

We want to make a difference with every single student and to ensure all students leave Furrowfield School with the best possible life chances.

Staff Well - Being is a very important aspect of being a member of 'Team Furrowfield'.

Staff are very positive about this as they are about our Staff Insurance Policy which gives access to aspects of private health insurance, well-being, physiotherapy, counselling, and health support.

Please contact the Head Teacher Miss Heather E Scott on to discuss Furrowfield School, the student body, this particular role and to organise a visit to the school.
