Bridge Recruitment Ltd are currently looking for a Junior Quality Inspector for their client based close to Kirkbymoorside.

As a Junior Quality Inspector you'll inspect basic components for use in manufacturing operations and have an excellent opportunityto develop key quality skills and techniques within the business.

Due to the location of the role, you will need a driving license and your own transport.

What's in it for you?

Up to £24,000 per annum
37 hours per week (08:30 16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:30 16:00 Friday)
Overtime paid at time and a half Monday

Your new role as a Junior Quality Inspector

Inspecting basic fabricated and machined components to engineering drawings
Performing mechanical inspections for components, completed assemblies, visual inspections and thickness measurements under supervision
Verifying mechanical and machining materials based on company drawings and test specifications
Assisting with company calibration programmes
Assisting with filing quality records, completing all required paperwork to company standards and requirements

About you

Computer literate (MS Access & Excel)
Strong communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Able to read and interpret drawings
Previous experience of using measuring equipment (Vernier callipers, micrometres etc)

Due to the nature of the role, previous experience in quality control within a mechanical component environment would prove advantageous.
