We are looking for a CCTV Security Controller to work at our prestigious client site in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. The site is a large international car dealership with links to Formula One. So if you have an interest in cars, this is the perfect opportunity for you. In this role you will work with external agencies including the Police. You will review the CCTV across seventy dealerships across the UK and take immediate action if problems arise. You must have a CCTV licence for this role.


As a CCTV Security Controller you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a CCTV Security Controller

  • Ensure you are monitoring all SOC security system which has been assigned to that location, safety and wellbeing of all personnel, visitors, contractors, General Public that come to the assignment.
  • Provide excellent customer service, and able to deal with situation in a calm and professional manner.
  • Monitor all access control / security systems PIR, Fire, Intruder alarms with any situation.
  • Monitor your surroundings for any suspicious activity whilst monitoring all dealerships with your area and respond with the correct action and follow the SOP.
  • Be able to report all HSSE issues, escalate when required.
  • Remain in compliance with site, HSSE regulations.
  • Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees.
  • Able to liaise with external agencies.
  • Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.

  • DS & CCTV SIA Licence
  • Knowledge and familiarity with computers and security equipment, including CCTV systems. PIR alarms,
  • Basic understanding in incident response, Crisis Management, Incident Management, Emergency
  • Flexibility to work nontraditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to adapt to our 24/7 operation.
  • Control room experience.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a team environment, as well as individually.
  • Strong time management, ability to multitask, and attention to detail capabilities.
  • Ability to master the company's computerbased technologies.
  • Control room experience
  • 1+ years of experience working with access control, CCTV monitoring, incident management technology.
  • The flexibility to work any assigned shift and to attend meetings and training sessions.
  • Data analytics and reporting experience for running current analytics and the creation of new reports.
