Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Regeneration Manager to work with one of our Local Authority clients in Hampshire.

What the job will be doing

To progress the development and delivery of a programme of community focused place improvement projects to improve the Borough working with the Regeneration Director, service areas and partners across the Council.
Work closely with the Regeneration Director, services across the Council and partners to develop and deliver a programme of community focused place improvement activities, initiating, facilitating and developing effective working relationships to embedproactive, professional and pragmatic solutions to achieve agreed outcomes.
To lead on contract management for a programme of place focussed improvements in the borough.
To work on the development of options for place shaping proposals, utilising a range of technical skills, undertaking relevant research and option appraisal exercises as necessary in order to influence the shape and direction of individual schemes as wellas providing constructive challenge to project scope and set up.
To oversee the commissioning and procurement of external consultants, development partners and contractors

What you will need

Educated to degree level plus RICS or equivalent or demonstrable experience
Proven track record of fulfilling similar functions within previous roles in either the public or private sector.
You will need to be self

- motivated to deliver against demanding timescales and targets in a complex political environment, showing creativity and initiative in managing own workload, delivering on a range of projects alongside multi-disciplinary projectteams as well as undertaking stakeholder and budget management.
