Our client, a global managed Services business which focuses on international sustainable technologies for metropolitan areas and their infrastructures is recruiting for an Energy Supplier Account Manager.

This is an exciting time to join as an Account Manager to strategically manage the Energy Businesses, based in Nottinghamshire - Hybrid (minimum of two days on site) as they explore the opportunities generated from market and technology changes and launch newpropositions to differentiate from the competition, improve customer experience and increase their market share.

Your Responsibilities

  • Selling and managing the account of energy suppliers who are selling metering solutions
  • Have responsibility for ownership of the entire account process from increasing the volume of contracted meters
  • You will initiate, facilitate, and lead contract negotiations for new services, variations, and renewals
  • To develop a sound customer contact network that enables you to generate knowledge on the customer's specific strategy and its business environment, analyse customer's markets and investigate specific business opportunities for customer related product andservice portfolio
  • To provide timely and accurate completion of all internal reporting, approval and governance documentation including monthly reports, pipeline management and proposal approval governance
  • You will be working with operational teams to ensue customer satisfaction, resulting in generation of new opportunities. You will also need to manage any customer complaints and escalate, if necessary
Skills and Experience

  • An experienced Account Manager with a demonstrable level of success developing enduring and profitable customer relationships
  • Experience in Utilities services with an understanding of Energy Suppliers and ideally metering
  • The ability to communicate, influence and present effectively at all levels within the company and to customers
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Effective and proven commercial negotiation skills
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
  • Have good financial management of accounts including invoicing, accruals, credit notes and debt management
Package
- £45,000 - £50,000 plus 15 % OTE car or car allowance
