- Build and run complex project finance models for greenfield project and acquisition opportunities.
- Support the evaluation, structuring, negotiation and execution of project finance and acquisition transactions.
- Provide support or lead the drafting of Investment Committee and Board papers.
- Support the preparation of formal bid process responses, non-binding and binding offers.
- Prepare and present complex analysis to internal stakeholders to facilitate effective decision making.
- Support, assess and execute revenue and debt strategies for BSR.
- A team player with the confidence to exercise judgement appropriately, engaging with colleagues and third-party contacts at all levels of seniority.
- Proven experience in financial modelling of complex transactions.
- Project evaluation, project management, relationship management, negotiation and due diligence capabilities.
- A degree in business, economics, accounting, maths or equivalent – ideally MBA, CFA or comparable financial certification
- Able to own investment decision making and understand the impact on potential investments.
- Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience preferably in Renewables/Infrastructure/Energy sector but not necessary for the right candidate.

What you will be doing in this role:
Reporting into the Chief Investment Officer, this role is forms part of the Investment team and is responsible for supporting transaction execution, valuation, financing, negotiations of project agreements, as well as general business development/origination. One of the role's responsibilities is to own and run complex project finance models for transactions in various stages of development, starting from M&A transactions and greenfield projects with planning, grid and land rights, to execution and financial close.
This role requires close interaction with all departments within BSR and is a critical and high-profile role within the business.
