The Role:


The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) is seeking two enthusiastic HR Officer - Generalists to join our dedicated HR team where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience and supporting various HR functions across the council.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Participate in HR and councilwide projects.
  • Work with managers and recruitment agencies
  • Administer contractual changes, starters and leavers as part of the onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support Business Partners with employee relations and performance management cases.
  • Administration of training and development programmes.
  • Provide payroll support for the council and schools.
  • Contribute to employee benefit and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance HR policies and procedures
  • Enter and manage data into the HRIS (iTrent).
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and timely query resolution.

What We Are Looking For:


  • Proven experience in previous HR roles, with a solid understanding of legislation and HR procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum Level 3 CIPD or above, or relevant experience
