The Role:

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) is seeking two enthusiastic HR Officer - Generalists to join our dedicated HR team where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience and supporting various HR functions across the council.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in HR and councilwide projects.
Work with managers and recruitment agencies
Administer contractual changes, starters and leavers as part of the onboarding and offboarding processes.
Support Business Partners with employee relations and performance management cases.
Administration of training and development programmes.
Provide payroll support for the council and schools.
Contribute to employee benefit and wellbeing initiatives.
Develop and enhance HR policies and procedures
Enter and manage data into the HRIS (iTrent).
Deliver exceptional customer service and timely query resolution.

What We Are Looking For:

Proven experience in previous HR roles, with a solid understanding of legislation and HR procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Level 3 CIPD or above, or relevant experience
