Description

Acorn is currently recruiting for Labourers/Industrial Cleaners at Port Talbot Steelworks for ongoing, long-term positions at TATA Steel Port Talbot.


Successful applicants will have:

  • Experience of working in an industrial environment is desirable, but not essential
  • A CCNSG Site Safety Passport is desirable, but can be provided in some circumstances
  • A willingness to take a substance abuse test

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Industrial cleaning
  • Manual handling
  • Strict observation of health and safety regulations
  • Shovelling heavy material
  • Water jetting
  • Reporting incidents or near misses to the relevant parties
