Description

We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to operate the hotel's laundry facility and to ensure there is an adequate supply of linen available to meet the demand.

This position is for a 37.5-hour contracted role, over 5 days a week

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring good order and cleanliness in our facility. There is room for growth within the DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham-Gateway company as we are growing and looking for new people to join our team

Responsibilities

Ensure the supply of linen and towels is sufficient to meet demand

Receive dirty linen and separate linens by type
Collecting laundry from drop points around the Hotel throughout the day for washing
Stocking laundry trolleys
Washing and drying terry
Wash and dry laundry following proper procedures
Report supply shortages or problems to management
Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room
Maintain stock levels, participate in monthly stock take
Overseeing and unpacking laundry deliveries
Comply with all safety and health regulations

You will work with the Housekeeping Management team to complete your training on-property. Previous experience preferred but not essential.

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
