The Role:


M&G Trustee Company Limited ("MTCL") is the Corporate Trust Provider within M&G, supporting different capital market transaction in different Trustee and Agent capacities.

This Corporate Trust Administrator position is currently available in the Trustee team with particular focus to the social housing business within the team.

MTCL is a leading provider of Trustee and Agency Services in the social housing market, with over £100bn worth of assets secured to MTCL as Security Trustee and properties estimated to be in excess of 1.6mn.

By securing the properties to MTCL, the Housing Associationscan move the relevant secured property portfolios from funder to funder without physically releasing the security from charge and our long-standing presence and consolidated experience in the sector allows us to provide a quick turnaround in all requests forrelease, movement and management of the portfolio.


Key Responsibilities for this role:


  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
  • Processing property requests such as transfers, releases, and additions
  • Logging the relevant requests on the applicable systems
  • Assisting with the administrating and updating of the security property database and the sealing database
  • Filing and archiving legal documentation
  • Other general administrative support where required such as:
  • Receiving, scanning and distributing correspondence
  • Coordinating and booking team and client events and conferences

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:


Other skills required include:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational & administrative skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Structured approach to work & ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office
  • Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Able to accurately transpose and extract data across different systems.
  • A proactive team player who is confident about working independently and can promptly escalate any issue.
  • Logical and analytical approach coupled with intelligence, passion and a drive to learn.
