Description

Operational Risk Manager, Slough:


  • Devise and implement strategies to ensure that the risk management framework provides consistent standards and toolsets for identifying, measuring, monitoring and managing the Company's exposure to potential operational failures
  • Represent the UK business. This function being the driving force behind risk awareness and facilitating the daytoday Operational Risk Management activities.
  • Deliver the UK Operational Risk Management, RM Programme.
  • Create and implement operational risk awareness programmes for whole UK business
  • Participate on project steering committees and ensure that internal controls, risk management, compliance, security, etc. are adequately dealt with by project teams where necessary.
  • Assist the managing board and risk committee in defining and implementing UK business risk appetite across all Operational Risk Management activities (including operational risk incident tolerance)
  • Ensure all Corp reporting requirements for operational risk and operational incidents are delivered and within the risk scorecard appetite
  • Act as UK Business Continuity Coordinator and manage all emergency or crisis incidents and responses

Profile

Required knowledge & experience

  • Managed Operational Risk in previous role
  • Experience of working in a Risk Management role
  • Experience designing Risk Management policy, framework and processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operational risk concepts, tools, techniques, methodologies, approaches, etc.

Desirable Experience

  • Degree educated or experience led equivalent
  • Fluent in business English language written and verbal.
  • Practical experience implementing a Risk Management framework effectively

Job Offer
£58,000 - £65,000 plus good package that includes access to a 10% bonus and company car
