Description

This post will be responsible for the provision of day-to-day professional guidance, support and training on all matters related to fire safety legislation, management and prevention strategies for all Trust freehold and leasehold premises.


  • The post holder will be the named person for the Trust regulatory reform (fire safety) order 2005 and will devise and teach where necessary fire safety training and awareness across the Trust.
  • The post holder will possess a recognised Fire Safety Qualification with experience within the fire risk and fire safety training.
  • The post holder will provide specialist fire advice to the Executive Board Level Director responsible for fire safety issues and the Head of Business & Compliance regarding the development, dissemination, and implementation of the Trust Fire Safety Policy.
  • The post holder will also deliver Fire safety Training to members of the Trust Staff.
