    Description

    Providing a Critical Care outreach service working autonomously to support and review deteriorating patients with the fundamental purpose of reducing the morbidity and mortality rates associated with hospital admissions, prevent critical care admissions and when necessary facilitate prompt referral/admission to critical care.

    The Acute Response Team members also form part of the cardiac arrest team, it is therefore essential that you hold or are willing to complete your Advanced Life Support (ALS) course.

    The post holder will be responsible to the Acute Response Team Leader and Consultant Intensivist Medical Lead
    Mange the implementation, ward education and care of inpatients with Acute Kidney Injury.
    You will be expected to assist with the management of trainee ACPs within the team.
    Provide clinical and logistical support for medical teams, helping manage patients and providing advice within scope of practice.
