If so, we have a unique opportunity in Whitstable for a Part Time Finance and HR Assistant to work for one of our clients who is a hugely successful design and manufacturer of electronic hardware.
As the Part Time Finance and HR Assistant your responsibilities would include:
- Processing supplier invoices and consolidating regular supplier statements
- Producing financial reports for customer, supplier, and product activity
- Responding to financial enquiries from customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Producing regular customer statements and communicating with customers regarding invoice payments
- Posting monthly management accounts journals
- Assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts
- Reconciliations of company credit card and associated required postings
- Analysis of monthly variances, as required
- Gathering required information to support production of periodic forecasts, VAT returns and year end processes
- Assisting with financial aspects of bid preparation
- Assisting with the administration of the company pension and healthcare scheme and other employee benefits
- Other duties as deemed reasonable
Person Specification:
- Excellent working knowledge of the MS Office suite of programmes
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Sage 50 Accounts software
- Experience working with confidential information
