Job description:


The Estate Accounts and Scanning department (EAS) is responsible for the processing of administrative and financial transaction data relating to various Insolvency matters e.g.

Bankruptcy, Liquidations, Debt Relief Orders, Redundancy Payments and Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA's).

We also manage a postal/ scanning service for many teams across the Agency.

We work to demanding, but achievable targets in a busy customer driven environment.

Our aim is to develop and train our workforce to undertake any of the roles within the team.


Responsibilities
As an Administrator you will be completing duties such as:

  • Create and update records on the in-house case management system accurately and safeguard customer data in accordance with the agreed policies and processes.
  • Carry out investigations and complete reconciliation of financial transactions.
  • Follow processes to ensure accurate payment and data processing of cases and escalate issues which require management input.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and training.
  • Provide excellent customer service in both written and telephone contact to both our internal and external customers.
  • Complete quality assurance checks of work processed.
  • Assist with the team workflow and manage your time effectively, whilst delivering a prompt, polite and "right first time" service to our Internal and external customers.
  • Other adhoc admin duties.


This is a non-apprenticeship post and open to all A1 and A2 Insolvency employees on promotion and lateral transfer, however if the successful applicant is currently undertaking a Level 3 apprenticeship they will be required to continue through their current programme until it's successful completion.


This post is a permanent appointment, however if the successful applicant wishes to undertake an apprenticeship this can be available depending on business needs.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills, knowledge, and abilities:

  • Excellent organisational skills to plan and prioritise tasks effectively, good time management to meet targets and deadlines.
  • The ability to think ahead to anticipate problems and have excellent problemsolving skills to arrive at a firm decision.
  • The skills to work as a team player as well the ability to work unsupervised and take initiative.
  • Effective and easy to understand communication skills (written and verbal), to use in a variety of situations.
