Morgan McKinley, London is pleased to be exclusively supporting a leading supplier of worldwide logistics services to hire a Finance Manager.

About the Finance Manager role
Responsible for the financial health of the company. Managing and guiding the team to carry out core finance activities ensuring strong working capital and clean trial balance. Preparing internal and external financial reports as required and providing clearand concise commentary to a variety of stakeholders. Be the spearhead for financial change projects across all areas of the business. Ensure to uphold high quality reporting and trust that the business expects from the finance team.

Role responsibilities:

Monitor the daytoday financial operations within the company
Review financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Approving payments
Oversee and develop finance department staff
Manage outside service providers for tax preparation, auditing and other as necessary
Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the company
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation
Manage the AP function, and improving systems where beneficial
Accounts Receivable management and support, ensuring bad debt is minimised and reported
Plan and manage the statutory audit
Manage and drive further automation of efficiency projects
Constructive challenge and interrogation of unusual reports or data
