**Line Manager | Preston | 6am

2.30pm Monday Friday | £24,000**Zeus Personnel is recruiting Line Managers for a 4th generation family cheese maker, based in rural Lancashire.

The handmade farmhouse hard, soft, and blue cheese makers are currently looking for a passionate Line Leader to join with them in the making, cutting, and packing specialty cheese for products used in some of the biggest supermarkets up and down the UK.

Are you the right person for us?

Team leadership attributes
Experience in high volume manufacturing environment, preferably food product.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.

What will your role as a Line Manager look like?

Must be able to operate machines.
Must have good communication skills.
Direct and manage the line workers to complete tasks for set up.
Offer instructions to assembly line workers so that each member of the production line is aware of what they need to do and what they responsible for to maximize quality and productivity.
Completion of paperwork and any associated administrative tasks related to the production line.
Capable of operating and setting up of the production lines.
Assigning tasks across the team and setting up the production line to complete the orders efficiently.
Identify production line issue and find ways to resolve these with the support of the supervisor and engineers.
Line leaders must ensure that all members of the line follow the company policies, quality, and health & safety rules.
