An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Project Support Officer to join the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) on a permanent basis.
Working as part of the Health & Wellbeing Team, the post holder will support the management of projects. To ensure the smooth running and delivery of project outcomes, monitoring progress within given timeframes. To collect, collate and analyse data, formulate detailed reports, and then present to a multi-disciplinary audience. To have lead responsibility for defined projects and/or work streams, as required.
The successful applicant will provide a high-quality project service and excellent administrative support, monitoring progress and ensuring that actions are clearly identified and completed within given timeframes.
Attend any meetings related to project work as appropriate to share and exchange information and best practice and take detailed minutes of meetings and actions, including raising purchase orders, expenses etc.
Reporting to the Health & Wellbeing Business Support Manager, the post holder will be required to support, facilitate, and monitor the progress of programmes of work, reporting progress and issues to the Health & Wellbeing Business Support Manager and to the Head of Health & Wellbeing.
Key to this role is the ability to develop and deliver training to all our people across the Eastern Region, whether online or face to face.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide a professional, comprehensive, and efficient service that promotes excellence.
You will also be the first point of contact and will require a high level of initiative and organisational skills.
In addition, you must also have a good standard of general education and it is essential that you are IT literate with well-developed verbal and written communication skills, have a positive attitude, along with excellent customer care skills.
Although your base will be in Bedford, this role will predominately be working from home with travel to various locations across the East of England, as and when required.
