Head of Production, St Helens, Merseyside

Resolve Recruitment are working with a leading Timber merchant based in St Helens, Merseyside, that are looking for a Head of Production to join their team. _

The Role;

Plan and determine optimal utilisation of manufacturing teams and equipment to meet production goals and objectives.
Responsible for all manufacturing processes, driving a safetyfirst environment ensuring all processes and procedures are adhered to.
Analyse manufacturing data and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvements.
Identify and utilise methods for making production processes more effective and efficient.
Provide support during internal and external audits.
Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and other support functions to deliver 100% schedule adherence and high customer service.
Ensure that customers, quality, regulatory and internal requirements are met or exceeded.
Implementing safety, health, environment, and quality requirements.
Encourage a strong communication link between all sites.
Harness a respectful and effective culture within the factory operation to enable individuals to voice their opinions and ideas
Working closely with the HR and Health & Safety Manager

The Person;

Must have proof of right to work within the UK
At least 5 years production management experience within a similar or related environment.
Must have excellent communication skills to actively listen to stakeholders and clearly verbalise ideas and action plans.
Excellent organisational skills
Experience of using production software and Microsoft packages.
Good time management skills to minimise downtime.
Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
Track record of making improvements and managing change in a fastgrowing business.
A professional attitude based around development and improvement.
The ability to build good working relationships with senior stakeholders.
Exceptional people management skills and teamwork capabilities.
