Credit Servicing is a division within Group Lending Operations of Investec Bank who operate across Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking and also Group divisions.
Description of role and key responsibilities:
Arrears management and forecasting for both ICIB and SPF taking into consideration IFRS09 Staging Allocations
Forbearance reporting - monitoring and presenting forbearance movements and performance to Forum
Data Capture of Expected Credit Loss data on a monthly basis into a central database
Data input in regards to Credit deterioration movements
Produce & Provide monthly Management Information packs
Data Capture of Annual/Credit/ Extension Review Dates into the current source systems
Daily Credit sanction tracking
Limits in line with Credit/ Documentation
Creating entities and deal structures on an in house Credit Platform (Sonic) and Connected Entity monitoring
Monitoring/Reconciliation of Credit agenda items
Sectorial code maintenance in source systems
Participation in testing ongoing systems changes
As part of the role development assistance in the expected credit loss bookings
Core skills and knowledge:
Must be computer literature; Intermediate/Advance Excel & PowerPoint skills required
Flexible; the role will develop and change as the department/role evolves
Organisation Skills, ability to prioritise which will be gained under guidance
Ability to multitask and work in deadline driven environment
Excellent attention to detail is essential.
Confident self-starter with the ability to communicate all levels and not afraid to ask questions.
Team player who is willing to assist and work with colleagues to ensure team is successful
Ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate effectively
