Assistant Nursery Manager

Our client is a major grower in its sector, growing a wide range of bedding, outdoor and indoor plants for its major customers.

As a result of further expansion, they are looking to appoint an assistant nursery manager to help manage the site.

They grow Herbs,Alpines and Perennials continuously throughout the year changing products with the season; they have a wide customer base and are shipping product almost daily through the season.

The role will be to supervise the production teams in growing, picking and packing the products ultimately sending it on to the customers.

It will be fast moving, challenging and very rewarding.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious, hands on, hard working person with a passion for supervising a growing operation; someone who is ambitious and looking to be to be in a more senior management position within five years.

Ideally you will have experience in working in an ornamentals or growing operation.

You will be bright, enthusiastic, have good leadership skills, be good at problem solving and want to take responsibility for your actions.
