Shift Manager (Food) | County Armagh Vickerstock are proud to be recruitment partners with our Food Manufacturing client who are set on becoming one of Europe's biggest gluten free producers on the key appointment of a Shift Manager for their newly developed food manufacturing facility based in Newry.

Reporting to the Site General Manager, the Production Shift Manager will support the growth of the site and play a pivotal role in the company wide expansion.

(Shift patterns will be discussed upon application, there is opportunity for days/nights).

What your typical day as Shift Manager will look like:
Complete quality and production documentations as required.
Work towards Production KPI in relation to output, waste, and cost.
Organize ingredients and packaging required to fulfil production orders and volume.
Implement good housekeeping procedures in the workplace
Observe and enforce appropriate Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene procedures at all times.

Proven experience in a similar capacity - Production Manager, Shift Manager or aspiring Production Supervisor seeking a 'step up' - within a fast-paced Food Manufacturing environment.

Working effectively with other key functions: operations, technical, hygiene teams
Lead on Continuous Improvement projects
Flexible approach to working hours covering the needs of the business.
