Under the guidance of Director of the Sustainable Earth Institute and Senior ELMS-Exchange Research Fellows, and as a member of the project team, you will be responsible for the delivery of research support to the Environmental Land Management Strategic Knowledge Exchange Hub (ELMS-Exchange), undertaking basic research in the field and laboratory, literature and database searches and providing research and project administrative support to the academic colleagues responsible for the project.


You will have postgraduate experience in geographical, environmental, biological or social sciences relevant to current sustainable land and water management agendas with knowledge of co-designing research materials, conducting research and analysing data from a variety of primary and secondary sources.

You will be an adaptable and flexible team player capable of liaising contructively with external and internal project partners and demonstrable experience of working to deadlines and prioritising tasks.

Experience working across disciplinary boundaries (e.g. with social scientists) is desirable.


There is an essential requirement within this role that you will be required to travel to and work at different University sites and/or other business locations that may not be easily accessible by public transport.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2024 due to Funding.
