What does taking part in the Collins Aerospace Environmental, Health and Safety Apprentice Program involve?

The apprenticeship programme is well structured and will provide you with visibility of a wide range of activities and projects to ensure a broad depth of knowledge and the opportunity to gain real practical experience.

As part of the apprenticeship, you will complete a Level 3 qualification in Safety, Heath and Environment (SHE) Technician. This is delivered through a blend of workshops and practical learning over a period of 20 months. The first 17 weeks will be a day per week at college in Aldridge. Followed by monthly project development workshops alongside, assessor visits for the remainder of the apprenticeship.


What are we looking for?
We are looking for the best apprentice who have the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's at level 5+ (must include Maths and English)
  • Motivated and professional
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication

Application Process
Apprentices will start with the business in August 2024.


You must be eligible to work in the UK and there may be a requirement for you to work on military related projects for which there will be a requirement for security vetting.
