Description
The role:
- Supporting the Director of Growth and Marketing by designing and prioritising Insight plans to support TrustMark's strategy and business needs.
- Identify and integrate internal /external information sources to develop findings and insights that will inform TrustMark's
- Strategic positioning
- Proposition, marketing and stakeholder management strategy
- Emerging business opportunities
Specifically, you will be responsible for leading:
- Market research (Quantitative/Qualitative projects) to develop thought-leadership and establishing TrustMark's position as a thought leader in the home improvements sector
- Competitor and market monitoring
- Customer and Partner research which will include our registered businesses, scheme providers and consumers (i.e. users of services provided by TrustMark registered tradespeople)
You will also:
- Own the endtoend delivery of brand, proposition, and consumer research, including stakeholder engagement and management, agency tender and management and delivery of results
- Own the research process by planning, initiating, designing, and implementing consumer/customer insight studies, including associated KPIs
- Agree briefs with stakeholders, manage agency quotes and the proposal process
- Oversee fieldwork and delivery of findings, incorporating integrated views and developing recommendations to present to key decision makers
- Build effective working relationships with the business and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure projects add value and have tangible recommendations which can be acted on
- Work with internal data to develop insights to inform thought leadership and product/proposition development
- Manage relationships with research agencies to ensure that projects are delivered to meet business needs, on time and within budget
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience working in a customer insight/services role
- Ability to extract and analyse relevant data
- Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience of managing a project team an operating in a matrix environment
- A team player, and motivated individual able to work off their own initiative
- Experience of working for a market research agency, think tank or an organisation that actively influences policy
- Good understanding of performance metrics that demonstrate business progress and how Research and Insight activities can impact the metrics
Education and Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience of relevant research and analytics processes
- Working knowledge of data security practices

- TrustMark Senior Leadership Team members and Heads of Function
- Stakeholders in Government, Trade Bodies and Schemes, Think-Tanks
- Third Party Agencies
Measures of Success:
These will be confirmed as part of your performance agreement but will include:
- Delivery to Service Level Agreement
- Improvements in Customer Satisfaction
- Delivery to budget
- Internal stakeholder feedback
- Impact of research e.g. policy impact, PR, impact etc.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Basingstoke: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Salary:
£50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
