Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our team.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for working with students who require additional support to achieve their academic and behavioural goals.

Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviours, providing individual and group mentoring, and supporting students to develop self-regulation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individual behaviour plans for students with challenging behaviours, in consultation with the student, their families, and other members of the school community.
Provide individual and group mentoring to students, using evidencebased approaches to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Collaborate with teachers, learning support staff and other professionals to implement behaviour strategies and support academic progress.
Provide support and guidance to families, and act as a liaison between families, schools and other community service providers.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour interventions and make changes as necessary.
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of student progress and behaviour plans.
