Macildowe Finance are currently working with a diverse and exciting Professional Services firm, based in South Leicestershire to recruit a Group Financial Controller on a permanent basis.

The business currently operates a hybrid working policy (Monday and Friday from home, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office)

The business has exciting plans for expansion both in the UK and internationally and has just had a stellar year operationally and financially.

The role will touch all areas of the business and have a genuine opportunity to drive process improvements and business strategy.

Reporting into the Group CFO, the role will be responsible for:
Management, coaching and development of the Finance team.

Oversee and review all month end management accounting and year end statutory reporting, ensuring that all internal and external frameworks are adhered to.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant Accounting Standards - UK, European and US.

Take a lead on the budgeting and forecasting process across the business, working with Heads of Functions and Directors to ensure a standardised and timely process is used across the entire business.

Support the wider business and in particular the Senior Management team by providing ad hoc modelling and analysis.
Maintain a tight control on all cash flow, as well as handling the business' foreign exchange.
Review of the Group Payroll produced by the external outsourced providers.
Work closely with the external audit, banking and insurance providers.

To be considered for this role you must be qualified ACA/ACCA CIMA ideally you will have operated within a multi-currency/international environment.

Previous line management experience is essential.
Previous experience in a complex, multinational group structure is essential.
