We are looking for dedicated and ambitious Event Manager to join our client based in Bicester. You will be responsible for supporting a rapidly expanding business in delivering amazing Events and supporting the wider team.

Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday with flexibility during events


Primary duties:

  • Project lead on at least two major greenfield events
  • Primary Liaison with clients to understand their briefs and develop into reality through thorough costings, quoting and event delivery
  • Operational planning on greenfield events, working alongside culinary, logistics and staffing teams
  • Responsible for overall event delivery
  • Source, manage, control both third party suppliers for equipment hire as well as manage assets
  • Work alongside Head Chef to develop menus and plan the operational delivery of menus
  • Work alongside Logistical team to ensure smooth running of event from kitchen plans to vehicle movements, drinks to disposal
  • Work alongside Staffing team to ensure the best staff are on the event and that event budgets are hit
  • Alongside Senior Management, responsible for financial reporting, budget management and reconciliation
  • Provide regular project updates and financial reports to the senior management team
  • To actively seek efficiencies in operational deliveries with regards to food cost, supplier networks and resource
  • Accountable for budget management on an eventbyevent basis and for supporting with the overall project PNL
  • Work within/to budgets and annual targets
  • Ensure event invoicing is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain a good knowledge of seasonal ingredients and food costs
  • Continued development of process and procedures
  • To be conversant with all company codes of conduct
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with Greenfields events
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Initiative and problemsolving abilities
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Organised, selfmotivated and accurate
