Reed Recruitment is currently seeking an Events and Communications coordinator to join our clients growing Marketing team in Ipswich.
The role can be combined with an element of home-working under the firm's agile working policy.

This role offers a chance to become a part of our small but mighty marketing team, co-ordinating engaging events and activities across the region to support the firm.

Your main responsibilities will include:


  • Organising and delivering a programme of seminars, workshops and events across all offices: both physical and online.
  • Reporting monthly to the Marketing Manager on website and social media statistics and developing the website according to the results.
  • Utilising social media to support the promotion of campaigns & events and expand our reach.
  • Managing the professionals' database to ensure targeted campaign mailings are delivered.
  • Organising and delivering ads as required by the media, liaising with the agency as required.
  • Reviewing and coordinating sponsorship activities to ensure maximum benefit is achieved.

Desired skills and experience

  • Good academic results with a minimum C grade GCSE in Mathematics and English.
  • Two or more years experience in a marketing role.
  • Accurate, methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude with demonstrable ability to exercise complete confidentiality.
  • Capable of utilising own initiative and working reliably.
  • Positive approach to problem solving.
  • Clean driving licence and access to own transport.
  • Ability to attend evening events as required (TOIL available).

  • Oral/written communication skills.

Essential Experience

  • Marketing : 1 2 years (preferred)
  • Events Experience 1 year (preferred)
