Alongside helping our beneficiaries and working alongside the serving and retired RAF we also organise and take part in a mass participation events, attend and assist at Royal Ascot Armed Forces Day, Air shows etc.
Every day you will make a difference and play your part in changing the lives of others and helping veterans and their families get through the toughest of times.
We are looking for a Community Fundraiser with a proven track record of achieving ambitious community fundraising targets. You are comfortable with working independently, but ready to utilise the support of colleagues across the Fund.You are perceptive and versatile and will have the ability to translate our story into rich content and compelling scenarios inspiring people to work with us.
You will equally be as comfortable supporting members who want to fundraise, as you will presenting to a room full of students, a company or potential volunteers.
No one day will be the same, and you will be the local face and voice of the Fund on the ground.
You will quickly build your understanding of the key influencers in your community, and you will ensure they understand what we do so they will want to be associated with the charity.
You will be responsible for raising income through existing networks of supporters, volunteers and building new relationships within the military, community groups and local business.
