The University of Manchester has recently established the Manchester Centre for Robotics and AI and is a leader in the development of robots for extreme and challenging environments.

The Project Administrator will support two robotics projects within the centre:
(1) Centre for Robotic Autonomy in Demanding and Long-lasting Environments (CRADLE), in partnership with Jacobs, aims to develop novel technologies that will allow autonomous robots to be deployed in demanding environments, such as space, nuclear and urban infrastructure, for long lengths of time.

(2) UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems (UK-RAS) Network, established in 2015, aims to provide academic leadership in robotics and autonomous systems, expanding collaboration with industry and co-ordinating academic activities in the field.


Working alongside the Project Managers, the Project Administrator will provide high quality administrative support for these projects and the wider robotics group in Manchester.

The postholder will carry out a broad range of administrative tasks including the preparation of reports, organising meetings, events and workshops, procurement and assisting with marketing and communications.
