Director of Information securityLondon (Hybrid)£150,000+Eames are working on the hire of a Director of Information Security.

This position will play a role in implementing and running the Information security program and strategy across the UK and Europe.

The role:

Building and managing excellent networks and client relationships organisationally wide (typically at CIO, CRO, COO, CISO/CTO) across a range of organisations.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify areas of the business lacking in support and put security recommendations in placeSound knowledge of business management and working knowledge of information security risk management and cybersecurity technologiesContributing to the overall Cyber security strategy by identifying where there are opportunities for growth, working with other department heads on technology and security strategies.

Provide subject matter expertise and independent guidance to the scoping, assurance, and delivery of the Information Security transformation programmes as well as the embeddedness of security controls in the wider transformation programmes.

Accountable for Cyber security compliance and operations for UK and Europe directly.

Supporting the Group CISO in the development and maintenance of the information security vision and strategy that aligns to organisational strategies, emerging threats, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated representation, stakeholder management and client service skills and experience with evidence of highly effective written and oral communication skills to communicate with and influence people at all levels.

Manage and complete information risk and information security reviews of Regional technology systems, providing recommendations for enhancement in line with Global standardsProvide advice and direction to senior leadership team, in the integration of security practices into strategic and operational processesProvide clear definition of security roadmaps focusing on Information Risk, DLP, Privacy and Technology risk
