An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Sport and Health Sciences, for a Lecturer in Paramedic or Emergency care Practice.

You will contribute to the delivery and development of modules and contribute to our BSc Paramedic Practice programmes.


We are looking for a Paramedic or Emergency Care practitioner who is enthusiastic in approach, with a sound understanding of Paramedic or emergency care practice.

You will have recent clinical experience working as a paramedic or emergency care practitioner and are HCPC registered.

In addition, you must either hold a teaching qualification or be willing to undertake a University teaching qualification on appointment.


Applicants will have the ability to teach and supervise dissertations up to Masters Level as well undertaking research and knowledge activities.

You will have a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning whilst the ability to work to your initiative and as part of a team.
