Job summary
You will work as part of a team to provide assurance to the Information Asset Owner on effectiveness of security assurance policies and practices throughout current and developing IT services.
Job description
You will work across all levels of the organisation, including the Directors to provide risk-based advice on the effectiveness of personnel security controls.
Stakeholder engagement with key teams, such Finance and Business Services Directorate (FaBs) andKnowledge & Information Management, will be a vital element of this role.
As a vital element of the role you will engage with key teams such as Digital, Data & Technology Directorate (DDaT) and Knowledge & Information Management.
Person specification
You will require excellent communication and relationship management skills to deliver timely, risk and evidence-based personnel security assurance.
Your previous experience and knowledge of delivering cyber/IT assurance programmes will be demonstrable and you will be able to provide evidence of self-development in Security and Assurance processes/activities and you have a good working knowledge/understandingof risk management.
Where an individual taking up the responsibility will be based in Swansea Office, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
This role will require a Security Check to either be transferred to them or completed within 6 months of appointment.
