is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and merchant of roofing and exterior products.

We are currently looking to recruit a
Compliance Administrator who will be responsible for the monitoring and coordination of the compliance of suppliers in line with SIG guidelines.


What does the role involve?

As a
Compliance Administrator, you will examine records, reports, occupational practices and documentation returned by suppliers to establish internal control procedures.

You will verify assets and liabilities by comparing documentation, completedquestionnaires and examining supplier control systems to ensure records are accurate and reliable.

The role holder will be required to monitor and coordinate the compliance of the supplier activities to remain abreast of the status of those activities and identify trends as well as being required to work with the Audit team to support the ISO Audit programme.

The
Compliance Administrator will ensure sourced product is identifiable, traceable and fully compliant, providing support to the business categories and actively assisting in process mapping, maintaining a universal way of working across SIGbusiness units to maximise efficiency.

In addition, you will analyse reports and create Excel files.

  • The ability to multitask in a fastpaced business environment
  • Strong influencing skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office Skills, especially Advanced Excel, but with experience of PowerPoint, Visio and Word
  • A high attention to detail, with great organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding analytical, critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Experience in a similar product compliance role, with familiarity of operational and compliance procedures and regulatory experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided
