    About Us:

    Role Overview:

    Our service at Oldham works with 28 vulnerable homeless adults across three residential projects.

    We are recruiting to fill Housing Management Worker role. In this role, you will ensure that our accommodation is well maintained, safe and homely.

    You will also have joint responsibility with team members for ensuring minimal loss of income through voids and bad debts and will work closely with Depaul's Rent Manager to ensure accurate rental records are maintained and undertake associated legal action regarding tenancies as required.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service at all times possible, including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.
  • Advise all prospective or new tenants/residents of their rights and responsibilities under their tenancy/license agreement
  • Ensure that all common parts and grounds of Depaul managed properties are in good maintenance order and adhere to Depaul Health and Safety requirements.
  • Facilitate the fair allocation of letting accommodation in accordance with Depaul's Policy and Procedures.
  • Please note that this job opportunity is offered as a full-time (37.5 hours a week), permanent role.

    What We Are Looking For – Person Specification:

  • Experience of working within a supported and/or social housing setting
  • An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or care leavers.
  • A knowledge and understanding of housing management
  • A knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits
  • Note:
