Description

Day Shift Melt & Pour Operative
Full time temp - perm role pm Monday to Friday £10.40 per hour with a reputable local manufacturer
This is a full time role requiring commitment and extensive training over a few months.
You will need to be physically fit as manual handling is part of your daily role.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Working on the furnace melting charges of metal at very high temperature
  • Training to use an overhead crane which has a ladle attached carrying molten metal
  • Pouring sand into the moulds
  • Coating

About you:
A hard working dedicated individual able to follow procedures to the letter to enable safe and accurate working environment.
Able to commute reliably to Crewkerne as you will be on site daily
Used to working in a factory/warehousing environment and being part of a strong team of dedicated staff.
