A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen to join the pharmacy team at the RNOH.

We are seeking a forward thinking and highly motivated Lead Assistant Technical Officer to deliver a high quality, safe and effective pharmacy service.

There is huge scope for the successful applicant to develop on both a personal and professional level through exposure to all departmental activities.

All applicants must have evidence to verify knowledge, skills and training undertaken in their role as a senior pharmacy assistant.

The post holder will possess excellent communication skills, good interpersonal and IT skills, and ability to work independently as well as in a team in a dynamic pharmacy department.

The post holder will assist in the provision of a high quality focused pharmacy service to the RNOH.

They will participate effectively in the daily dispensary duties and delivery of services including labelling and dispensing medicines including controlled drugs, dealing with ward stock, SOP development and assisting with supply chain management of Pharmaceuticals.

This will include ordering, invoicing, distribution, delivery and general management of stock control of medicines used at RNOH.
