As a Barclays BCO - Securitized Products, you will Develop significant and productive working relationships with senior Front Office management to ensure they understand their risks and have controls and processes in place to manage those risks.
You will be Aligned to a designated portfolio of Business, Functions or Horizontals to provide input, guidance and risk management expertise across the Controls environment.

Working Flexibly
What will you be doing?:
- Driving major assessments (e.g. RCSA, COI) and engage with the global Markets Ops Rigour team
- Providing oversight, guidance and help relating to issues management in respect of risk and control issues
- Ensuring frameworks are implemented and managed effectively
- Providing advice, education and awareness relating to issues management
- Driving improved and sustainable controls culture through use of data led relevant indicators
- Monitoring key indictors and providing insights to leadership to oversee their risk profile
What we're looking for:
- Broad understanding and knowledgeable on aspects of Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), Operational Risk Framework (ORF) and Barclays Control Framework
- Proven experience of working in or within a Control type role / team with the ability to demonstrate a risk management mindset
- Excellent people management skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present credibly to senior stakeholders
- Highly experienced in dealing with multiple stakeholders in different business functions who have different objectives e.g. Barclays Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Legal
- Excellent excel skills including extensive experience in managing large quantities of data, pivots, formulas, Vlookup
- Ability to provide thought leadership through bringing together insight and analysis including external knowledge
